มี การวิพากษ์วิจารณ์ในโลกออนไลน์ว่าอารมณ์ของวลีนี้คล้ายกับที่เราไปเอาชื่อ ประเทศเพื่อนบ้านมาล้อในเชิงดูถูกเพื่อให้คนที่ถูกล้อเป็นตัวตลก เช่น ไอ้ลาว เป็นต้น
จาก การตรวจสอบ มีการอ้างว่าที่มาของวลีนี้ มาจากคนไทยคนหนึ่งซึ่งสรุปมาจาก ข้อความ 15 ข้อ ที่อ้างว่าเป็นชาวฟิลิปปินส์เขียนถึงคนไทยในเพจที่อ้างว่าเป็นเพจของ AEC หรือ ประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน เพราะทนความดราม่าเหลือเกินของคนไทยไม่ไหวอีกต่อไป
