กรณ์โกหกว่าไม่ได้สนับสนุนรัฐประหาร ๑๙ กันยา(รายละเอียด)
แต่เราทราบว่าไม่กี่วันหลังรัฐประหารเขาสนับสนุนรัฐประหาร ชม คมช. และสุรยุทธ์ ในบทสัมภาษณ์กับสื่อต่างประเทศดังนี้
Korn Chatikavanij said that “there was no constitutional” method of getting rid of Taksin. Korn then went on to praise Prime Minister Gen. Surayud, saying that the new appointed government was “not a military government”. He also said that he “respected” the junta for trying to establish political “stability”.
